Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski also referred to as Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director famous for his work in the popular television drama show The Vampire Diaries. The actor has won numerous nominations and accolades for his performances in this TV show, which include Teen Choice Awards. The actor was raised in New Brunswick New Jersey in the United States Wesley showed an interest in acting during his high school days. After that, he was enrolled at Rutgers University. But after recognizing his talent in acting and knowing the possibility of making an income from his extraordinary acting talent, he dropped out. His debut appearance on TV was in the popular American TV soap opera Another World. In the following year, he made his debut as a leading character in 'Wolf Lake a TV series which aired on the CBS network. The career of his character reached a pivotal period when he took on the character of Stefan Salvatore, in the very popular American TV show The Vampire Diaries. Furthermore, he been directing episodes of the popular show. He has been a part of many movies that have been a hit since his debut film The Last Run. He was recently seen in the movies Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting character. In addition, he's popular on social media. There are more than 13 million Instagram followers as well as 4.1 millions Twitter followers.
